An amendment of a paper presented to a training course sponsored by the New Zealand Association of Soil Conservators - Lincoln College, May 1968.en
The objective of the project is to provide information on an accept-reject decision on the Osborne’s Drain Improvement Scheme. The scope of the project is to prevent flooding and to improve the efficiency of drainage, so that the area can be developed to its full potential as high producing land. The accompanying plan shows the boundaries of the area and the location of the work, proposed in the scheme. All properties within the scheme will have a direct outfall into an improve channel which will be maintained in the future as a public drain in a classified rating district.en
