Water consumption of sheep and cattle in New Zealand

Abstract

This is the final report which overviews the investigations into the free water consumption of cattle and sheep, the principal livestock animals in New Zealand. The report considers the daily and hourly free water consumption as it affects the engineering design of stock water storage and reticulation.
